The Cozy Project is one year old today!  I can't believe it!! Thank you all so much for your support and for making this such a fun little adventure. I really enjoy making cute little things to brighten your day, so thanks for allowing me that opportunity!

After my whirlwind winter, I feel like I am just now catching up on life. Balancing a day job and a busy Etsy shop this winter was amazingly busy. I am grateful for all of it... And I think I can say I am finally caught up on sleep, and laundry, and life!

And just in time!

Friday is The Cozy Project's first Birthday! I am planning some fun.

I am notorious for having multiple birthday celebrations... but who doesn't need a beach weekend AND a happy hour one day at... AND the group celebration potluck at work.. Plus the family party. Anyway, I just tend to celebrate for weeks. And, why not?!

In that spirit... Starting Friday there will be a week of celebrating! Including some contests, coupon codes and giveaways. So STAY TUNED and let's party!

I love Valentines day. And it is coming right up! Even when I celebrate as a singleton, I have so much love and happiness in my life.  In my personal life, I have a fantastic family and a great group of friends, whom I love and adore and who love and adore me. I am so grateful for every bit. I don't believe in limiting the celebration of Valentine's day to honoring only romantic love... Let's celebrate love of all kinds.

So on that note I want to celebrate all of you... because I love and appreciate you.  I love those of you who pay attention to my 140 character musings on Twitter.. or like The Cozy Project Facebook updates and photos. I love all of you who read my blog or favorite my items on Etsy. I feel loved and appreciated by all of you and I am grateful. To all who have given me a thumbs up in some big or small way since I have started this particular handmade adventure: THANK YOU! It has been amazing so far and you all make me feel pretty dang awesome.

I got cancelled from my day job today... I am so excited I can't go back to sleep! It feels like getting a snow day or skipping class!

There are lists in my head of all the productive and fun things I could do with the ten hours that just became mine. I think my problem will be deciding which ones to choose!

When I am working from home I like to listen to Pandora. My favorite station lately has been Gotye. I heard "Someone that I used to know" on the radio sometime this winter and added that station to my list. It is like that station was made for me and plays a lot of my favorite tunes...

Sunday (in the midst of a bit of internet "research") I finally watched the video for this song. It's amazing.

I love getting to know new bands. What are you listening to?

Who is all caught up from the chaos of the Holidays?

Not me!

With a busy holiday season on Etsy and four different family gatherings, plus New Years and some work and friend events at the beginning of this month, I am just starting to find time to get things organized and revamp my craft space and my shop.

I have a long weekend coming up... FOUR whole days free!! I am super excited for some pajama time and some productive time. I am in desperate need of organizing and purging and maybe even some crafty time and some in the kitchen time. It seems like a great time for baking if you ask me!
